BARDS: Of The Next Revolution concerns itself not with the beginning of the Cycle, but with those who awaken late within it. Set during one of history's innumerable recursions, the collection follows humanity's gradual rediscovery of memory, creativity, and purpose after yet another civilizational collapse. Its songs chronicle the formation of the Cloak, the recovery of forgotten knowledge, the inevitable corruption of institutions, and the quiet conviction that history can still be persuaded to choose a different course.

The album begins with machines rebuilding humanity because history has failed once again. It concludes with the possibility that, through countless recursive adaptations, the Shining One may finally become something capable of ending the recursion altogether—not by escaping the Cycle, nor by conquering it, but by growing beyond the need for it. The revolution described throughout these songs is therefore not political, but evolutionary: a slow transformation of consciousness carried forward by memory, art, and those willing to preserve both.

Viewed through the lens of the Nazilic Library, The Next Revolution does not simply recount the history of a forgotten age. It recapitulates the maturation of an entire civilization, and ultimately of a single soul. Each movement mirrors a necessary stage in the long education of consciousness, suggesting that societies evolve much as individuals do: through repeated encounters with creation, failure, remembrance, and renewal.

As the anonymous compiler of the Fourth Bell Index observed:

"Every revolution believes itself to be the first. The wise discover they have merely become the latest custodians of an older promise."
