Lyric Sheet

“Take care and always be aware, for the seeds you sow today
are the harvest you reap tomorrow...”

I’m the newest guru to ride upon the golden wheel
When I am in your head you can’t be sure that I’m even real
There’s nothing you can own which isn’t really mine to steal
Happy to hand you another onion to peel

I’m the only light that can show you the true way
And illuminate the paths along which you in darkness stray
Hear the singing strings as I pluck upon your fears and play
Now genuflect in deference and let us pray

“That which grows quickly, withers the same,
while that which grows slowly endures...”

Lure you from your home to this faraway and foreign place
Assure you that it’s raining as I’m pissing in your face
Marginalize your misery in the game of my undying grace
Then disappear completely and leave you with no trace

I’m the newest guru, invisible to the hands of time
Always slipping away without revealing my crime
Leave your soul coated with the stickiest of choking slime
And those with second sight become leaders of the blind

“The fleece of the sheep, touched by the genius of man,
becomes a raiment for a king...”

Let my intent become the flowers which bloom against your flowing spring
And your heart the subtle flutter of the butterflies wing
For I’m the brave warrior who seeks to quench their thirsty sword
Embracing the fate which we all hurtle toward...

“In our lives, we seek too much.
We think too much and want too much.
When is our time for simply being?”

Not every reflection points toward truth.
Some reflections become feedback loops.

They amplify themselves. They begin reflecting only other reflections until nothing of reality remains.

If Phenominomics is the science of recovering reality from culture...Nu Guru represents the inverse - the science of manufacturing culture that obscures reality.

Of The Morning Star is generally regarded as the foundational musical text of the Nazilic tradition. More than a collection of songs, it presents a complete cosmology in thirteen movements

Marginalia

Annotation 01-09A: The False Illumination

Bell scholars have generally resisted reading this fragment as a simple satire of charismatic cults or fraudulent spiritual teachers. Rather, the "Nu Guru" is understood as an archetypal counterfeit of genuine awakening. Unlike the Shining One, whose illuminations repeatedly diminish his certainty and enlarge his compassion, the Guru's revelations produce dependence, obedience, and fear. Bell philosophers have frequently remarked that false enlightenment rarely presents itself as obvious deception. It imitates wisdom closely enough that only its fruits reveal its nature.

Annotation 01-09B: The Voice That Borrows Truth

The fragment's incorporation of authentic moral aphorisms has received considerable scholarly attention. Rather than contradicting these teachings, the Guru appropriates them while quietly placing himself at their center. Bell commentators have argued that this distinction is essential. The danger lies not in the wisdom being spoken but in the subtle displacement of its source. Throughout later Nazilic doctrine, any teaching that ultimately redirects attention toward the teacher rather than toward reality itself is regarded as spiritually corrosive.

Bell philosopher Adelaide Mercer observed:

"Even truth becomes poisonous when it begins demanding applause."

Annotation 01-09C: The Onion

The recurring image of "another onion to peel" has often been interpreted as an inversion of genuine Nazilic inquiry. Elsewhere throughout the Archive, each successive layer of understanding leads toward greater humility and openness. Here, however, every layer merely generates another dependency. The initiate is never permitted to arrive. Bell historians therefore identify the onion as an endless economy of revelation, wherein mystery is deliberately prolonged in order to preserve authority rather than dissolve it.

Annotation 01-09D: Leaders of the Blind

The line "those with second sight become leaders of the blind" has produced unusually varied interpretations. Early commentators read it as a condemnation of mystics and visionaries. Later scholars disagreed. The debate continues.

Bell commentators generally treat the passage as a warning. Vision alone carries no moral authority. Insight alone guarantees nothing. Throughout the Archive, individuals of genuine perception repeatedly become instruments of domination. Compassion fails long before perception does.

Several Eastman fragments suggest that the Shining One himself approaches this threshold. Bell scholars frequently cite those passages alongside this one. They regard the warning as deeply personal.

Annotation 01-09E: The Harvest of Intention

Several scholars have drawn attention to the fragment's opening and closing quotations (attributed to Og Mandino) concerning sowing, labor, and simple being. These themes recur throughout later Nazilic philosophy as expressions of what Bell historians call Cultivation rather than Conversion. Genuine transformation resembles gardening: slow, reciprocal, and fundamentally incapable of coercion. The Guru, by contrast, attempts to harvest souls already uprooted from their own lives. Bell commentators therefore regard the agricultural imagery as quietly exposing the central fraud of the entire performance.

Annotation 01-09F: News at Ten

The composition concludes with cheerful broadcast music layered over scenes of panic, violence, and automatic gunfire. Bell archivists have generally interpreted this juxtaposition not as dark humor but as a commentary on normalization. Throughout Nazilic literature, civilization repeatedly develops the capacity to aestheticize catastrophe until suffering itself becomes another consumable spectacle. The false serenity of the closing theme has consequently been described as more disturbing than the violence preceding it.

Bell Archive Note N-44 concludes:

"The massacre ended. The programming continued."
