The Gleam Foundation

Glossa Nazilicum
The Reading Room

The Gleam Foundation is a little-understood charitable organization that appears intermittently throughout the financial history of several documented Nazilic Encroachments.

Public incorporation records indicate that the Foundation was established during the late 1960s and list only two individuals as its original officers: Thune Garrison and Evelyn Ross. Beyond these filings, verifiable information remains remarkably scarce.

Bell historians have long regarded the Foundation as the most plausible source of financial support for numerous Encroachments operating throughout the Pacific Northwest during the latter half of the twentieth century. Its reported assistance allowed many resident participants to devote themselves to scholarship, music, agriculture, printing, restoration, and archival work without relying upon conventional full-time employment. The precise mechanisms by which the Foundation acquired or distributed its assets have never been satisfactorily documented.

A persistent tradition within the Bell Archive maintains that the Foundation's initial endowment originated from the abrupt disappearance of the SHINE record label during the early 1970s. The claim has never been substantiated, though it appears frequently enough in surviving correspondence to warrant continued mention. Similar speculation surrounds Thune Garrison himself, whom many Nazilic commentators identify with a particularly long-lived incarnation of the Shining One. No Bell publication has formally endorsed either conclusion. Both remain subjects of continuing investigation.
