Ghazal 598

Jalal ad-Din Rumi
The Hall of Fragments

“Don’t be satisfied with stories, how things have gone with others. Unfold your own myth. Observe the wonders as they occur around you. Don’t claim them. Feel the artistry moving through and be silent. Don’t grieve. Anything you lose comes round in another form.”

The path isn't inherited. It has to be walked. The work isn't to find the myth. It's to become the one only you can tell.
